Studio
Bowler James Brindley was established in 2014 with the aim of creating an Interior Design agency which provides an honest and hard-working service for its clients and a safe, kind and inspirational place in which the team can work.
The paradigm of the studio is one based on team ethic, collaboration and flexibility. We are committed to an approach that is truly democratic, in all aspects. Every Bowler James Brindley scheme is undertaken with an intellectual rigour and vision, tailored to the specific requirements of each individual project. The studio reflects a unique and refreshing attitude – eccentricity, understatement, quirkiness, hard work and inclusion.
BJB employ a select team of like-minded interior designers and architects, several of whom have been with the company for many years.
Not wanting their names above the door, but recognising the importance of family, the co-founders of the business created a company name which embodied the philosophy of the studio and that pays tribute to their roots: Bowler, James and Brindley are all historic family names which hold meaning and significance.
All projects undertaken by Bowler James Brindley are driven by Stephen Crawley and Lucy Southall. They lead all the design direction and are the client’s first point of contact. It is the paradigm of the company that this is the case for all projects as it ensures clear communication and a consistency in approach and quality.
Our studios occupy the first floor of a grand building on Langham Street in the W1 district of London.
