W Barcelona is an iconic building and landmark in Barcelona situated directly on San Sebastian beach. The building was originally designed by architect Ricardo Bofill. BJB were appointed by to renovate the 473 guestrooms and suites at W Barcelona along with the Eclipse Bar, Breeze Meeting Suites and Fire Restaurant and Bar.
The design of the guest rooms was based on Barcelona perspectives of both city and the sea. An aquatic and urban environment inspiration, and unique city perspectives produced memorable guestrooms and suites. The most recently completed space was Fire, a restaurant and bar situated adjacent to the famous pool terrace with views of the ocean.
